Day 4:

We headed for Morioka and went to Hideyoshi Sake Brewery where we tasted freshly brewed sake and took a tour around the brewery to see how the sake is being brewed.

Tasted a few of the different sake and they are really yummy and smooth, which is very different from the usual sake that i had tried in Singapore. It's really smooth and easy to drink. Told Masami san that i prefer sweeter sake and he introduced and let me tasted which was really really nice and i decided to buy back 1 bottle after which he offered another type which was even sweeter and tadah i bought the sweeter one. It's the Grand A1. Really regretted only buying 1 bottle cause the sake taste just like white wine (top grade riesling) in fact better than wine cause of the smoother taste and the refreshing aftertaste just lingers in your mouth. *drool drool*

Arrived @ changi airport at 6am ready to set out for lovely nippon. Was so excited that i couldnt sleep the previous night. Reach japan about 4+pm their local time but by the time we checked out for baggage and got on to the tour bus it was nearly 5pm and the sake brewery we were supposed to visit was postponed.
Headed back to hotel and then out for dinner and then to Aeon for shopping and by 9:40pm had to catch the last bus back to hotel. What a day to start the trip.
1st night in Narita, stayed at Excelsior Tokyu Hotel. After shopping, had a nice shower and started watching tv programme, lots of news but managed to find some variety programs.

Day 2
After breakfast we set out to Nikko and visited their local famous tourist spot Toshogu Shrine which is a gorgeous complex of colourful structure featuring superb craftsmanship of the 17th century artisans. After shrine visitation, went to Kegon Falls and had an overview of Lake Chuzenji. It was an amazing sight, the waterfall was beyond description and weather was really cooling up in the mountain top. After scenery viewing, next stop was Edo Wonderland which is a tourist spot featuring the Edo period having Edo tradesman,warriors,feudal lords,princess ,mill wheel houses and warrior's mansion. Watched a comical performance and some Ninja feats.After which set back to hotel and stayed at hot spring hotel (Sunshine Kinugawa).
Damn big room and super spacious and wore yukata for dinner and then walked around the area and around 10+ to 11pm, decided to go to the open air onsen to soak. Guess all the aunties in the tour group should be asleep by that hour and guess would not bump into any aunties ard that timing.
Truly indeed when i stepped in only 4 pairs of slippers out of which 1 lady is getting dressed up and the other blowing dry her hair which meant only 2 women inside soaking. Poor Felicia had to accomodate my timing for the onsen as i am still abit not used to the idea of "baring" myself to public.
Onsen was shiok! Super duper shiok. After Onsen, my whole body and face was red. Took another quick shower and then bought a bottle of juice to drink in the room. Started taking pix in the room pretending to be Yurei - spirits or ghost as we are standing in the corner of the room wearing yukata and hair still abit messy taking pix. Quite unglam but really fun.

Day 3
After breakfast, set out for the Kinugawa rapids boat ride and our boat rower is a young guy and 2 lady in the tour group keep wanting to take pix with him and set all the way right in the front just behind him. As the tour guide is seated right at the end, poor me and felicia became temporary guide for the aunties in front who seated near us for japanese translation. By taking the Rapids boat ride is the best way to view and enjoy the grandeur of the Kinugawa river. After the ride we went to Tobu World Square which exhibits 102 exquisite 1:25 replicas of the world famous architectural works and ancient monuments. Took pix of Great wall of china and u can see "Journey to the west" characters at the Great Wall section. Imagine taking pix with Monkey God travelling on the Great Wall. Hahaha wat a funny sight..After that went for fruit picking, ate a bunch of giant grapes at the Orchard (Kanko Kajuen) and the ojisan is so nice he gave tokubetsu service (special service) and allowed us to bring back 1 apple and 1 pear back. Bought 1 bunch of grapes back too. Evening checked in to another Onsen hotel and had a 2nd onsen experience. This room is smaller as compared to the 1st one but dinner was fantastic. Had Hokkaido crab stick, scallop,abalone,some herb wine which is extremely sweet(kind of dessert wine) and shabu shabu and heaps of food. Everything in small portion but lots of variety. Took more than an hour to finish my dinner, was slowly savouring and tasting and enjoying my dinner.....Saiko!! YeaH!!
Went to the hotel lobby for a walk and saw some aunties chatting and 1 young gal and her dad playing shogi (japanese chess) and started watching. She was playing against Incho-san (apparently the jap ah chek is a director of a hospital) and then his staff drop by and took over to game to help savage the game. Game match and our side lost cause we really screwed up the game not knowing how to play. It's very different from chinese chess as u can use back the pawns u "ate" back into the game.
During the 2nd game the jap subordinate won the game and requested for a kiss from Pamela the gal from our tour grp and she kissed the chess piece and stuck it to his face. We took pix and this man just walked over and put his arms around my shoulder (sukebe ojisan- se lao tou) and from then on i labelled him sukebe ojisan.
Went for onsen and after onsen went back to room to watch jap drama and started eating my grapes, super sweet and super big. After eating the grapes i was super high and happy. Felicia thought i was high on sugar cause i started talking non stop.
Never did we know that the grapes has some sugar content that can make ppl get drunk or high on grapes and we only knew that the last night when we met Kayle and she told us that. Damn! that was kewl . Real grapes made me high instead of the fermented grapes that i drank.
Next day during breakfast while i went to take food and returned to my table, sukebe ojisan and rest of his colleagues happened to sit on the same table and no choice had to politely smile to him to say hi. After which when all his colleagues left, he still sat behind with a young guy and while he went to take coffee, me and felicia finished up our drinks and decided to go. By the time he is back i am ready to leave and he started pointing out to his chest and said "Japan". Yah i know i am wearing my Kappa jacket with the word "Japan" spelt across my chest, sukebe ojisan dun have to be so obvious right......

Haven been blogging for ages....been hybernating at home watching tv dramas as usual...ocassionally catch up with the usual click of chummy for drink /  mah jong etc...

Errmm...crazy stuff happen during CNY period when EmiKo baby is back from aussie landy to catch up...boozing out and doing crazy stuff is part of the norm activity....think my clubbin cum drinking is most active during the cny holiday period doing crazy dares....i muz haf gone outta' my mind back then....

ok back to the header topic....recently company will be implementing department re-organization and prior to re-org, rumours haf been fluttering ard few months back and already heard that such re-org will happen back then from 1 of the team manager from another level....

since my current boss is really super lax and the SBC (simply bo chap) , i guess he has set the bar at a really comfy level and kinda diff for me to work with any other boss who micromanages....but haf also heard who my new boss is....this new boss is a controversial topic at work...it's a classic case of either u love or hate kinda rship...but i guess so far this new boss is quite alright with me as she will chat with me if she happen to passby my seat....

today after work had dinner with 1 colleague and did abit of window shopping and nvr did i expect to hear "interesting stories" in the office and ppl whom i think are nice can be quite so scary telling tales behind u....OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! based on her personal experiences then i come to realise tt there r actually such cliques at work and so many little incident btw that grp & the particular colleague coz this colleague is so softspoken and quiet by nature so i dun wish to comment any further why the biasness and "office bitchiness" started but since i m not involved dun think i want to get it started also.....the thought of it just send shiver down to my spinal cord and the unofficial office "illicit" affair started sprouting out as well.....goodness nvr knew such juicy stuff can happen ard it and i totally ignored it ....

Counting down to Chris' wedding and last friday we held a hen's party for her.....Adel is also back from UK to join in the fun...how could she not come coz she's the main organizer for the hen's party, most important task to bring back fun and kinky (maybe) but definitely embarassing props for the bride to be to wear on the hen's party....

Whole idea is that the bride doesnt know wher she's going and only thought she's meeting me and adel coz she will be goin to the airport to pick her up and meeting me later for frenship catchup until prior to her leaving her office she got to know from the other 2 sisters that she will be meeting them for dinner that night....interesting....how exciting...the fun always begin when there's anticipation...

the day before, groom to be called up and asked me wat time bride to be will be goin home on fri and my reply was , she's not gonna be back on tmr...so just take note chris will be all ours (all the sisters).....*hiaks hiaks * evil grinssss *tsk tsk*

manage to swap 1/2 shift with colleague on fri and knock off at 1:30 and started abit of shopping and then meet up with adel and chris and adel's other half....finally get to meet him for the 1st time after hearing his name for 4 yrs+........sad part abt close fren staying overseas la.....hard to catch up with latest news (or rather gossips...kekeke)

took pix of the props and pressie and then head off for dinner at Mamarlade @ Renaissance then initial plan was to bring chris to top 10 @ orchard tower to watch some lady boys after dinner as hen's night party but however plans was changed to velvet afterall we dont want to leave Tim back alone in the service apartment neither do we want him to be *disturbed* by lady boys cause Orchard Tower lady boys famous to *cho cho* ang mo man.....we dun want to frighten poor Tim and scar him with bad memories of bapok......

before we went to velvet, headed straight back to adel's service apartment and played some games and managed to finish 1 bottle of vodka within an hour by 7 ppl (5gals 2 guys)..then once we reached velvet ordered 24 pairs of sex on the beach and since it was 1-for-1 we had 48 shooters sia....since KLM had to attend meeting she didnt drink much and had to leave early.......cant believe 48 shooters are down within 10-15min i guess and i drank pretty much...didnt keep track but easily 15.....(goodness gracious!!OMG!!!!)

Next thing went to dance floor and fell coz of the stupid floor so slippery guess someone spilled drinks on that spot...lucky i wore bermudas so it wasnt as unglam as falling down wearing dress or skirt......basket there goes my luck to fall on the same spot 2x..and sprained my wrist...*ouchhhh* tat hurts.....sat was the killer when chris accompany me to people's park to look for sinseh for the rubbing....it was painful....after the sinseh massage, went to florist with chris to decide for her wedding stuff then afternoon went for spa/massage at Estheva.....kewl.....so relaxing....

dinner time bought heaps on stuff back to service apartment to slowly savour every single stuff....but really bought too much.....well....so much more interesting and juicy stuff to write but integrity doesnt allow coz anything fun and exciting happened on hen's night shall always be kept secret. wat gals do when they r totally insane will not be published online especially when i m a true nutcase.....more stuff will happen.....*hiaks hiaks hiaks*

On Thursday, after work went to watch DOA at cineleisure. Overall the show was enjoyable as it was a no brainer show just watching arcade game characters coming to live in action. The visual effect of the fighting was good.

 

Some of the fighting movements were the same as the arcade game ones. Gen-Fu does really look like the arcade version but Lei-fang was disastrous looking. For costume wise, Kasumi’s clothings were the same as the game other than the kimono during the opening. That opening was spectacular…awesome sia…..

 

Bought DVD of Fast & the furious and Too fast too furious the other day after dinner with my colleague….didnt have time to watch the DVD as I am konked out by the time I reach home after movies or dinner etc…..

Watched the movie last friday @ cineleisure at 9:45pm with Felicia and Yvonne and prior to that watched Death Note alone @ 6:15pm. Had thai food for dinner as Felicia had cravings for thai.....thanks to her..we had a great meal @ lemon grass...


Prestige is a great show to catch as the twist is unexpected...thru' out the show it just keeps u in suspense.....up to th very last minute u will still be thinking abt the plot lor......half way the show , i noticed certain things and suspected some plot and until the very end when the show ended, my suspicions were confirmed......

Hugh Jackman is damn good lor.....loved the show sia....

Never expected a show abt rivalry btw magicians can be that fantastic....it's intriguing how the plotting btw the 2 magicians got me hooked to the screen following and scrutinizing every little movement that they had in the show to think wat's gonna happen next......

Had heard alot of anticipation from my anime cum manga fanatic colleague about this manga and the upcoming movie....

out of curiosity, decided to surf ard and indeed i am also very interested in the show now...prob will be askin her if she wanna watch the premiere next thurs......

viewed abit of the animation via U-tube and indeed i was intrigued by the storyline......guess i am also hyped up now......

Main characters

Light Yagami (Kira) (夜神 月, Yagami Raito)^?, (Seiyū - Mamoru Miyano)

The protagonist of Death Note. An intelligent young man who picked up the Death Note dropped in the human world by Ryuk, a Shinigami (death god, or reaper). He decided to use the Death Note to kill all criminals, with the ultimate goal of cleansing the world of evil and creating a utopia.

L (エル・ローライト, Eru Rouraito^?, L. Lawliet )) (Seiyū - Kappei Yamaguchi

The world's top rated detective, tasked with tracking down and arresting Kira. His disheveled appearance masks his great powers of deduction and insight. He has many quirks, such as sitting in an odd manner and snacking on sweets in the middle of meetings. His intelligence matches or exceeds Light Yagami's. He often takes drastic strategies to confuse and force his opponents. With the help of Misa however, Light is able to kill him.

By traditional measures of storytelling, L (Ryuzaki by nickname) is the main hero of the story. He has dedicated his life to catching Kira. On several occasions he willingly discloses several of his weaknesses to Kira at the risk of his own life in the hopes that he will lure Kira into a trap and catch him. He sadly dies by Rem's notebook at the end of volume 7.

In Death Note Volume 13, "TRUTH", L's real name is revealed as El Lawliet.

Misa Amane (弥 海砂, Amane Misa)^?, (Seiyū - Aya Hirano)

A young girl who has an immense crush on Kira. She is a famous model, and tends to wear clothing in Gothic Lolita style. She is immature and has a tendency to refer to herself in the third person in an attempt to be cute.

Misa's parents were killed on the street, the criminal's trial was delayed multiple times - due to the lack of evidence - it appeared he would be released, however the murderer happened to be one of the many criminals Kira kills. When she heard of Kira, a person who kills criminals that police and officials cannot arrest (and those they already have but have not tried/sentenced), she felt the need to be with him to join him on his crusade against criminals.

Misa is totally devoted to Light, and she has said once that she loved him "at first sight." Light, however, only views her as an asset to his plans because of her Death Note and her "Shinigami Eyes" power, that she obtained at the cost of half of her remaining life span. In the end of the series, it is thought she appears in the last chapter, but in Death Note Volume 13, "TRUTH", it is revealed that she committed suicide shortly after Light's death.

Mello (メロ, Mero^?, Mihael Keehl)

Mello was an orphan who grew up with Near in Watari's shelter for gifted children. He was also a primary candidate to become L's successor. Similar to L's fondness for sweets, he is often seen eating chocolate. When he received news of L's death, he swore to avenge L's death by capturing Kira. To this end, he teamed up with a group of criminals and proceeded to kidnap the NPA director and trade him for the Deathnote. The director, however committed suicide, so he kidnapped Light's sister, Sayu instead.

As the story progresses, Mello managed to get ahold of a Death Note, though he lost possession of it not long after and gained a scar over one of his eyes.

Near (ニア, Nia^?, Nate River)

Like Mello, Near was one of the candidates to become L's successor. He too shares a similarity to L: Much like L played with things such as sugar cubes and forks, Near is seen playing with toys throughout the series. When he learned of L's death, he offered to join forces with Mello to fight Kira. When his offer was turned down, he gained the support of the US government and formed the SPK.

Near quickly came to believe that the new L was also Kira. As the series progresses, he became more and more sure of his suspicions and continued to read Light's movements. At last, with the help of members of the SPK, Light's own team for pursuing Kira, and Mello, who dies in the process, Near manages to prove that Light was indeed Kira and that Mikami was his accomplice during a fateful encounter at a warehouse. A year after the events in the warehouse, it is shown that Near became the next L. Near is also shown eating a chocolate bar as he plays with his toys in this scene as a remembrance to Mello.

Shinigami (The Death Gods and Reapers)

Ryuk (リューク, Ryūku)^?, (Seiyū - Shidou Nakamura)

The original Shinigami who dropped the Death Note in the human world, which Light would pick up. Acting out of pure boredom, Ryuk begins the story of Death Note on a whim. In the fourth volume of the manga, the story explains that Ryuk obtained his second Death Note by tricking the King of Death. Perhaps neutral by nature, Ryuk often refuses to aid Light and instead enjoys watching him struggle for his goal. Ryuk's only weakness appears to be a fondness for apples. Light uses apples to coerce Ryuk into helping him. According to Ryuk, apples are to Shinigami as what cigarettes and alcohol are to humans; if he goes too long without one his withdrawal symptoms are that he stands on his head and twists his body into a pretzel-like shape. This is seen in volumes 3, 4 and 5. The most important facet of Ryuk's character is that he is not Light's friend. He acts for his own interests and entertainment and often fails to tell Light key details about the Death Note.

Sometime back when i wasnt feeling well, i morphed out 2 non-fiction pair of twins to portray the sick side of me.....today is the birth of Oku the angry side of me....Oku shall be the character in my story whenever anger strikes me......

In japanese Okoutta means was angry thus in short decided to use Oku for my alter-ego personality...

sometimes i really wonder why some people can be so full of nonsense and then still think they are so self righteous as if they arent in any fault??? seriously wonder what their mind consist of man.....is it just their big fat ego and pride which fills up their brain...??

Had the most upsetting experience today with 1 indian customer.....
demanded for a call back without revealing any purpose and insisted i had to speak up louder as he couldnt hear me . instead of politely requesting for me to speak up, he commented he would appreciate if i consistently make an effort to use more strength to speak up to him and when people tried to explain procedures he just couldnt take no for answer and insist i wasnt being professional and was shouting at him when he was in fact hurling and shouting at the top of his lungs over $2.10...My God!!!!!!!! Ask him how to address him politely and his reply was just fine to call him sir as it is as i do not need to be so detail and personal with him......My GawD...who wish to be personal wif him sia..just part of phone ettiquette to ask for name lor....before advising did verification and after which asked him wat his enquiry was and he started to give his speech or rather education on phone etiquette and profesionalism yadah yadah yadah.....my goodiness!!!!!

what can i say abt such customer man.....fancy shouting and getting delirious for over 2 bucks and then shouting saying it's his principle issue for not wanting to pay the 2 bucks to the bank for transaction charges as in his opinion bank shdnt be charging transaction charges for utilising CPF to place FD placements.....pls la.....

no one in the right frame of mind would want to entertain such an unreasonable cx and doesnt allow ppl to explain anything to him and just kept shouting ppl dont understd him and we r not being professional and are not fit to work in the bank etc....

if there's something call professionalism to be a customer, then he's the 1st one to be ousted out of that category....for someone who has no sense of decency to have basic respect and courtesy and started to hurl personal remarks like r u using that little brain of urs to think is not forgiveable.....

to think that i actually tolerated his nonsense and thank him for his call when his ultimatum was to comment i spoilt his day when obviously it's the other way round man.....i guess by tryin to tell him the truth that the charges is part of T&C really made his day suck coz he had to pay $2 bucks when his principle doesnt allow him to do so yah...."poor thing"...*my foot*

was so pissed after the call that i threw my headset against my panel and took few minutes to cool down before i start assisting other customer....

had never tried to threw stuff so bloody loud in my customer service line before.....this obstinate fool really broke my record sia....

even when my superior called him back also find this person out of the world.....100% off man...how do u expect anyone to put someone on hold to check the enquiry w/o listening to music and told him if i dun put him on hold he would just hear silence and he rather that to hearing music and said if he were to be put on hold for more than 1 min than we shd haf the decency to tell him so he can hang up and we haf to call back....my god....now he thinks he is the king???

first u call in to check on ur acccount and u dont allow ppl to chk ur enquiry for more than 1 min and yet has to provide u with solutions and has to abide by ur request even though it's unreasonable.....then pls stupid customer......u gotta own ur own bank.......complain and threat to write to CEO doesnt work la if he uses that little brain of his....CEO will not be bothered about such peanuts in the first place.......

Really detest ppl who r so unreasonable and full of nonsense and yet think they are so self righteous.......these ppl sucksssssssss BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!

This year decided to make it a simple affair and juz chill with few close frenz for bday...

Initially plan was to book a hotel room like last year and throw a party but din manage to get a room at the desired hotel.....

Had steamboat with frenz (Chris, Ming, denise and Ed) and after that headed to Musicdreamers cafe (Ai Qin Hai) - Ming Ge Can Ting....to listen to ppl sing and got "sabotage" to go up stage to sing.....The sabotage was expected though since we are going to live singing place......

Such a small world chris knew the singer and he happened to be my friend's partner when she used to sing at Ai Qin Hai...no wonder he looks kinda familar.....

Had some interesting "episodes" which happened during the 2nd session..the table in front of us performed wat we suspected as "duan bei shan part 2" - kinda wasted though coz he does spent some effort dressing up and i think they both r the kind who dress up to make themselves look and feel good lor.....

This is the first time i had a really long bday song sang to me as there was 3 versions and personalised.....Sang duet "Wu Ding" with the Ming Ge Can Ting Singer..(oops cant remember his name) and later the 2nd sessions singer announced got fren celebrating someone's bday which is on monday i juz froze and stared at chris and she said she got nothing to do with it and we all realised one of the singer's bday also on the same day and they are there celebrating..."phew" fer a moment thought 2nd round sabo sia...

It was damn nerve wrecking lor singing on the stage in front of public and i only could concentrate on lookin at the lyrics but the lighting also makes it quite diff coz it's very bright.....

The dinner at golden mile was satisfying especially after steamboat and u order a coke to drink...wahhhhhhhh the feeling is shiok. Jus like u eat pizza muz drink coke or pepsi.....

monday will be celebratin with mom and godmom to have lunch.....another yr has passed..time really flies lor......Happie Bday to me....yeahH

All these while i am super fanatic j-drama fan and not so into korean drama but recently i m glued to my tv watching 1 korean drama -Gong (princess hours) becoz of 1 actor Kim Jeong Hoon. He look more like japanese than korean and that was the reason why i bought the drama...he's so gentle in the drama so prince- like. In fact i came across 1 website that in China he is voted the most prince like korean actor.....

I think his feel resembles Long Ze Xiu Ming and if Japan is having a japanese version of Gong then Long Ze Xiu Ming will be the 1st choice......

The 1st 10min of the musical was very distracting as this is the 1st time which i saw 2 screen by the sides showing chinese subtitles when the play started....

my goodness, they translated the musical lyrics and lines into mandarin and started flashing by the side....

Kit Chan's vocal is great but i feel tat the beginning part she was conserving her energy for the later part of the show and truly indeed after 2nd half, her vocal is more projected....loved the play and enjoyed myself .......

It's indeed a very different experience from the previous musical which i had watched before .....but bottomline still enjoyable.....


Went to the Matinee show for Forbidden City @ Esplanade last saturday with my 2 close friends and after that went to Orchard to shop for a while to meet 1 more female friend to replenish her purse as her stuff got stolen in her Moscow business trip.....

Had dinner @ Paragon and also went to Takashimaya for my friend to get her red shoes to match her wedding evening gown.......After the dinner and shopping, the 4 of us went up to Glass Bar for a drink before we decided to head home to end the day....

During dinner and drink session, it was catching up session and discussion on work, BGR, etc etc..... C&M were advising LM to attend the wedding preparatory class with her bf to affirm if they should continue with their rship and live with the major issues which prick the couple....They mention some couple had major argument at the preparatory session and broke up after the session but for the better coz the session made them come to terms of the disparity and the "cant live with" habits or issues which was bugging them....

Monday nite is my America Next Top Model night (ANTM) and Jade has a super duper farKed up attitude thinking she's the best and the ANTM already and a threat to the rest of the gals....her attitude and ego is so super big tt i think the is the worst candidate amongst all the girls...to think judges and the other gals all have an issue with her, Jade definitely has got major attitude prob but sad to say she's the only one who doesnt see the prob in herself and still think she is the confirmed winner top model ....

Miss J also couldnt stand Jade and felt tt she's too arrogant.

Nenna is kewl and Brooke has got her own style.....Gina is much of a confused asian chick but still in the running.......Like Mollie Sue hairstyle so funky....Sarah looks kewl but has to come to agreement with her new makeover sia if not poof she goes......

First episode starting picking on weaker gals and tried to crush their confidence.....Maybe like wat Tyra says Jade has insecurity issues with herself tt's y she's trying to pick on ppl and show her "exuded confidence" which turns into pure arrogance...shall look fwd to next week running.....YeahH

Been doing some pondering of What's the true meaning of friendship after 1 episode of disagreement....i have always treated my frenz well and showed frenship concern and try my best to lend a helping hand or listening ear when nec but recently i feel that this kinda concern are meant for true frenz which i mean the other party also treat me as a fren and not someone just taken granted for......

if You R reading and U know who U r, YES i m refering to U.... u may feel tt u r not wrong but i believe in the theory of majority shdnt be wrong.....10 out of 10 frenz who heard the incident and knew wat happen wld stand by my side and prob U r the only one who will think u r right abt ur own actions....

Charlaine and I have been pretty tolerant about your past behaviour and we made it a point to listen to ur repeated complaints but PLEASE do respect us as frenz n do not throw ur tantrums and claim damages on us when obviously u haf other issues in life which screwed up....


Frenz do not send abusive sms to each other like "Go to hell" or "Fxx u both BITxxx go to hell" etc......i do not recipocrate any frenship for anyone who abuses the frenship to begin with.......



Please wake up the idea and think why someone who picks up ur call and talk to u halfway thru the conversation gets cut off and u r not able to call thru right immediately after tt..is it on deliberation or due to other factors....n if u do not seek clarification n juz think tt the caller cuts u off w/o valid reason during an argument, it doesnt mean u can send abusive sms to ur fren....and do u seriously think someone who had read abusive sms will pick up calls of the sender immediately...DUHHHH the answer is NO coz I m RALLY CHEEZED OFF....

Charlaine also feel tt i DO NOT owe u any explanation and I didnt want to post this blog at all but knowing tt u will login to chk if i posted any blog to badmouth u or anything like tt and you actually came to read my previous blog, u juz spur me to post this blog specifically to u...

I do not wish to repeat the whole story in the blog for others to judge who's right and who's wrong but the bottom line is frenz DO NOT abuse frenship and use ABUSIVE lang to each other......

If u had always claims tt i m irritating u on purpose why do u bother to ask charlaine and me out for coffee etc??? isnt it contradicting and portray an oxymoron behaviour?

u send someone abusive sms and then start saying i m not trying to salvage the frenship by not pickin up the call and if by certain timin i do not reply it means severance of frenship yadah yadah yadah.......and after all these u bother to chk on the person's blog and friendster profile......wat's the purpose???

U mention U R not in the wrong n will not apologize SO let me tell u, I shall not beneath my integrity to befriend someone who abuses my frenship n insist tt he is right either....

To think tt charlaine gave u the benefit of doubt and tried to clarify with u if u had sent the sms in a fit of pique and that if u really meant what u sent and to think ur reply was YES right back to her.....this is indeed a outright letdown.......

if u want end of frenship, so be it but do reflect on ur own ATTITUDE, dont think u r above the rest of the world coz majority of the ppl cant be wrong...ask urself why in every organization which u worked for, nobody likes u and treat u like a friend....why r u so much detested by ppl in the whole dept..if in every organization u worked for juz 1 or 2 colleagues do not get along with u, then maybe it could be other ppl prob but when in EVERY org EVERYONE feels the same, then i can safely say it ur ATTITUDE which u need to reflect upon....

if u feel tt only ppl who can tolerate ur arrogance can be ur fren then good luck to u and ur frenz then....and if u feel tt in any point in time ur fren has treated u bad and in any time to come u have achieve success in life and wish to take revenge on ppl who used to treat u the way u didnt like, then God Bless ur frenz now, please GOD do not let anyone offend u or pls let them see ur true colours.....this is not considered frenship....if u do not learn how to respect ppl, u will not gain any respect back....this is the most basic form of courtesy....no matter how smart a person is, how high the IQ can be, but ZERO EQ is equilvalent to nothing......I rather be balanced in both my IQ and EQ rather than high IQ ZERO EQ....

An interesting topic sprung up recently while I was having a coffee session with my chummyr.

So what does effective communication means to you?

Well, to me for sure it has gotta be 2-way communication with active listening and Para-phrasing to affirm understanding.

 

Someone once said to me and my friend that I am a very irritating person as I often Para-phrase what he is saying and that makes him boil. This person says I have a tendency to deliberately irritate with this nature of mine and none of his friends ever do that to him with me as the only exception.

My reply to this friend was none of my friends told me that I intentionally irritate them with the Para-phrasing and none of my existing friends had any issue with me either. Isn’t it a norm to seek clarification if someone is seeking solace and trying to tell you his/her problem?

 

So when does enough means enough? When a friend confides and share with her their problem, you will be a listener for the 1^st time, 2^nd time but how much umpteenth time is the final time you will scream enough is enough of the same old issue???

It's been some time since i last blog.....prob ard 2 mths thereabout.......had been watching lots of animation at home becoming a vampire during weekend and hardly go out when there is sunlight.... recently for the past week or so, decided to get my butt out from my room and start my social life back having dinner with colleagues and metting up ex colleagues to catch up and meeting primary school friends for dinner during weekend and poly friends for ktv etc........

most of my friends are complaining that i stayed at home too much so much so i am "rotting" and "stale" already.....ke ke ke...

Been watching quite a few animation like Bleach and finished with Tsukuyomi and halfway on Mahou Shoujo Nanoha...etc....Bleach is cool and super addictive ....my colleague has the animation and she will lend it to me......(gd to haf common interest colleagues)

been doing lots of catching up with frds and realise how time haf passed and how we haf grown so much over the years.....it's gd spending some quality time with friends and start bonding.....guess more to come once i get my butt of from my house..ka ka ka

After the waivers on Late charges and Annual fees for the credit facilities...come on your $$$ deposited with the bank....

More often than not, everyone knows how puny the interest the banks offer on the deposit and yet people are so willing to put almost all their life savings into savings deposit earning such meagre puny interest with willing hearts...(lots of older folks are guilty as charged - younger ppl might not have so much free or idle cash cause spending too much yah...not saying ALL but generically)

So, if we all know deposit savings earn peanuts why arent we thinking of other methods to let our $$ grow??

So instead of all into savings can start diverting abit into Fixed Deposit which earns just a teeny bit more than savings but still better than nothing....
Then come to investment.......this is a bit sensitive cause not everyone can tolerate risk...so first of all u must manage and know what r your risk appetitite or risk profile which most cases personal bankers or financial consultant would do ask u a series of questions to determine your risk tolerance.....

Next coming to bank investment products......setting aside structured deposit,unit trust and insurance (ILP), you got to determine the duration of your investment and how much idle cash u can fork out as investment besides the risk tolerance.

Once you have determine all these factors, next important is the consultant or personal banker u talk to....DO NOT LET UNETHICAL sales CHEAT ur $$$$.......

Make sure the banker's explanation is clear and precise and if ur gut feel tells u the banker is sprouting nonsense and doesnt know anything else other than the product he/she is explaining to u then forget it......they r professionals and ought to know more than just their product knowledge......also do your homework and make comparison between banks and speak to different bankers to have a feel who is more professional but if u are buying Unit trust , can always buy online via finatiq or fundsupermart or go poems where the cost is cheaper......ILP is a simply lousy choice....might as well buy pure UT and a cheap term insurance get better benefit....unless u r very lousy in disciplining urself to save then dun commit to endownment......

Read about the recent hoo-ha abt mr Brown and the issue abt progressive package and how the living standards in singapore is versus our pay and disposable income, we all agree that money is not sufficient to use because we always have to pay and pay endless stuff......(loans like housing and car and child if any is applicable)

Recently i had dinner with my ex-colleague and had a discussion with him about how he can save $$ and earn money from bank rather than letting bank earn our money when we do not have enough $$ to spend ....

These can be catagorised into Credit cards , Credit Lines.

Credit Cards:

1) DO NOT pay ANNUAL FEE. Please get the banker to waive your Annual fee so you can save for other purposes. (hint* request is nice if the officer agrees on the spot and u have to DEMAND if u encounter a bad mood officer who is not willing to waive on the spot)

Eg. 1 Credit card AF = $60 and u have 4 cards then savings = $60*4 =$240 (hey that's alot considering its per year k + also credit line so amt adds to double per year)

2) After AF, then comes Late charge. comeon if ur total paymt is $30 but due to some delay u have to pay $50 LC fee then it is ridiculous..... so pls get waiver either request or demand up to individual preference)

3) Then come proper planning, please DO NOT OVERSPEND. Calculate your budget accordingly and if you know your statement cycle date is nearing, delay your shopping a few more days so that the transaction will be the following month's statement so due date will be 2 months later IF and ONLY IF your budget to make full pymt for next month is overstretch. DO NOT PAY MINIMUM and service interest cause CARDS interests is the highest 24% p.a....Killer u know...always make FULL PAYMENT

Should you make big amount transaction ie. >$500, pls try to find out if the bank have installment programme so at least u can stretch and make pymt comfortably w/o servicing interest.....

Just finished watching the korean movie King & the Clown and the guy who played the role of the jester who is cross-dressing did a very good job. He is so feminine looking that i took him for a woman for a short 3 split seconds not when watching the movie though.

Had read abt him from the papers and for that split second thought he was a woman but after reading the review then i realised he was cross dressing in the show.

The show depicts a dyfunctional king who lust over a young boy, besides the king there are many other men who lust after this young guy (kong-gil)......It's actually quite a touching show and the feminine touch of kong-gil is so womanly which made me wonder if this guy in person has such experience sia....he's good at the role sia......

Now catching a Japanese Drama serial "Kurosagi" which was lent by my colleague. This drama depicts a young boy at age 15 lost his family after his father was swindled and he starts to train and become a professional swindler swindling on professional swindler to avenge his family. Shirosagi = Swindlers who cheat people thru plots or corporations thru their proposal or plots and Akasagi = swindlers who uses feelings to cheat money (eg marriage swindlers). So kurosagi = swindler who only preys on Shiro+Akasagi.......in Japanese Shiro = White and Aka = red and Kuro = Black.My favourite guy from boy group NEWS (Yama P aka Yamashita Tomohisa) is the main cast acting as Kurosagi. After watching think he is the perfect fit for the role not becoz i like and and is bias but becoz he is good. This role is so much better than Nobu o Produce he acted so airheaded and blur in the other drama.... This is definitely a good drama to catch and the most ironically part of the drama is he has to pay money to buy information of the professional swindlers from the person who plan and sold his idea to the swindler who had caused his father's death. I find the drama a very intriguing as it reflects how the society is now and how individual are put thru the test and going thru all the milestone before they are polished to finer art pieces. The oxymoron in life and lotsa other stuff which holds so close and dear to our hearts are also being portrayed in the drama.I strongly recommend this drama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
